Talks on domestic violence against women were held at the community center in the town of Gangaw, Magway Region this morning. It was organized by Gangaw Township Women’s Affairs Association.

At the event, Chairperson Daw Khin Sanda Tun of The Township WAA touched on the purpose of the talks. Then, Daw Ar Khu of Women for Justice, Kalay Township, imparted knowledge on protection of women from domestic violence to the audience.

Present on the occasion were 70 female including young girls, members of the Township Maternal and Child Welfare Association and the Township WAA.—District IPRD
