A ceremony to open a tarred road to public was held in Htarnar Ward, Ahlon Township in Yangon Region yesterday morning.

According to the agenda, concerned officials gave speeches and an elder spoke words of thanks. Next, those present opened the tarred road and had a documentary photo taken. The new tarred road is 500 ft. long and 15 ft. wide.

The ceremony was attended by a regional lawmaker, officials from the General Administration Department and the township municipality, local authorities and residents.—Tin Maung Oo (Ahlon)
