State Security and Peace Com­mission Vice-Chairman and De­fence Services Deputy Command­er-in-Chief Vice-Senior General Soe Win inspected the full-dress rehearsal of the parade columns, which will participate in the parade of the 81st Anniversary of Armed Forces Day on 27 March 2026, at the Nay Pyi Taw Parade Ground yester­day evening.

 

Tatmadaw members, including fe­male personnel from seven parade col­umns, marched from Thittat Ground to the parade ground, singing military songs to the accompaniment of the Tatmadaw (Army, Navy, and Air) band and the My­anmar Police Force band.

 

The Vice-Senior General was accom­panied Commission Secretary and Com­mander-in-Chief (Army) General Ye Win Oo, Commission Member and Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) Gen­eral Kyaw Swa Lin, Commission Member and Union Minister for Defence General Maung Maung Aye, Commission Member and Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Phone Myat, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Htein Win, Command­er-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung, Chairman of the Leading Committee for Organizing the Armed Forces Day Chief of Armed Forces Training Maj-Gen Pyae Sone Lin, senior Tatmadaw officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, Chairman of the Armed Forces Day Cel­ebration Management Committee Com­mander of Nay Pyi Taw Command Maj-Gen Kyi Thaik and other officials.

 

The Vice-Senior General and his team inspected the marching of parade columns into the parade ground, seat­ing plans for distinguished guests to the parade, the cavalry company and the rehearsal for taking position of the VIP convoy.

 

The Vice-Senior General also viewed the flying of aircraft from Tatmadaw (Air) in formations, uniforms of the flag bear­er and companies, parade flags, parade small arms and equipment, and parade rehearsal of relevant companies, hon­orary artillery units and attended to the needs of officials.

 

The parade will consist of Tatmadaw members from the Tatmadaw (Army, Navy, and Air) and the Myanmar Police Force, female Tatmadaw personnel, spe­cial squad members, military vehicles, and aircraft from Tatmadaw (Air). — MNA/TH
