VICE-CHAIRMAN of the State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win inspected the full-dress re­hearsal of the parade columns which will participate in the pa­rade of the 80th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day which falls on 27 March 2025, at the Nay Pyi Taw Parade Ground yesterday morning.

 

Tatmadaw members, in­cluding female Tatmadaw members from seven parade columns, marched to the parade ground from Thittat Ground by singing military songs to the accompaniment of the Tatmad­aw (Army, Navy and Air) band and the band of Myanmar Police Force.

 

The Vice-Senior General accompanied by Union Minis­ter for Defence General Maung Maung Aye, Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung, Chief of the Gener­al Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Kyaw Swa Lin, Com­mander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Htein Win, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung, Chair­man of the Leading Commit­tee for Organizing the Armed Forces Day Chief of Armed Forces Training Lt-Gen Htein Win, senior Tatmadaw officers from the Office of the Command­er-in-Chief, Commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command Maj-Gen Soe Min and officials.

 

The Vice-Senior General in­spected the marching of parade columns into the parade ground, seating plans for distinguished guests to the parade, installa­tion of Simultaneous Interpreta­tion System devices for foreign guests, the cavalry company and the rehearsal for taking position of the VIP convoy.

 

The Vice-Senior General also viewed round flying of air­craft from Tatmadaw (Air) in formations, uniforms of the flag bearer and companies, parade flags, parade small arms and equipment, and parade rehears­al of relevant companies and at­tended to the needs of officials.

 

The parade will consist of Tatmadaw members from Tat­madaw (Army, Navy and Air) and Myanmar Police Force, fe­male Tatmadaw members, fe­male special squad members and aircraft from Tatmadaw (Air). — MNA/TTA
