THE Ayeyawady Region’s Bridge Department constructs a new Thabot Kan bridge on Ngayokekaung-Ngwesaung-Chaungtha-Shwethaung Yan-Magyizin-Kyaukchun-Gwa (Shwethaungyan-Magyizin) road section in Chaungtha of Pathein District in Ayeyawady Region aiming to promote the economy, social, health and tourism industry in Ayeyawady Region and Rakhine State.
Inspections on fishing trawlers for VMS, TED conducted
THE fishing trawlers started their operations starting from the first week of June. The Fisheries Department is supervising the trawlers whether they install VMS and Turtle Excluder Device (TED) to ensure the marine resource and rare marine animal conservations.
