Six villages in Ngayokekaung Town inundated by floods

Approximately 217 houses in six villages in Ngayokekaung Town, Ayeyawady Region were submerged by floodwaters and high tides as the area suffered from heavy rains since 5 August.
Some households evacuated to safety place due to increase in water level of Thanlwin River 
Now, a toal of 129 people from 24 households from Ywathit Ward-2 and 456 people from 98 households from Shwe-Pyi-Daw Ward were evacuated to a monastery at Myoma Ward.
