Training course for Cub Scouting opens in Taunggyi

WITH  a  view  to  building  self-confidence and becoming adventure  lovers  with  help-ing spirits, the first training course for Cub Scouting was held  by  the  Myanmar  Scout  Association  in  cooperation  with  scout  trainers  from Singapore  and  Indonesia  at  the Brainworks TOTAL Inter-national  School  in  Taunggyi,  Shan State yesterday.

The Ayeyawady River passed the danger level on 12 July as river water flowed into low-lying areas in Myikyina, forcing over 10,000 residents to abandon their homes for temporary shelters yesterday.
