Union Enterprise for Humanitarian Assistance, Resettlement and Development in Rakhine (UEHRD) held a work coordination meeting at the National Reconciliation and Peace Centre (NRPC) in Yangon yesterday morning.
A high level meeting on locating the internally displaced persons (IDPs) of Rakhine State in safe housing before the arrival of monsoons was held yesterday in Sittway, the state’s capital.
U Aung Hla Tun, the Deputy Minister for Information, inspected the healthy and happy living conditions of Ministry of Information staff at their housing yesterday. The Deputy Minister looked around Thazin 1, Thazin 3, Thazing 6 and Thapyay 3 of Gant Gaw Housing, the directors’ residences, 1,000 acres, Bu Kwe Housing (men’s), Kha Yay Housing and Thapyay Taung (men’s and women’s).
The delegation of the Constitutional Tribunal of Myanmar, led by member U Khin Maung Cho, who were in St. Petersburg, Russia, returned to Yangon on the evening of 17 May.
Hundreds of photographers are participating in a photo contest organized by the Ministry of Information, and assisted by the Myanmar Photographer Association. “The participation of relevant ministries should be sought out to reflect the significant developments of Myanmar through photography,” suggested Union Minister for Information Dr Pe Myint, during his meeting with the judges for the photo contest in Yangon yesterday.
Advisor to the Chairman of UEHRD committee, U Toe Aung said to media that Union Enterprise for Humanitarian Assistance, Resettlement and Development(UEHRD) project is gaining international collaboration and ASEAN countries support the work of it.
