Myanmar, Korea ink MoU on solar power

As part of the National Electrification Project, the Mandalay Technology Company, the Republic of Korea-based ELT Co. Ltd, and MTES Company (Myanmar) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for Renewable Energy Development in Myanmar on Tuesday at the Sedona Hotel in Yangon.

Union Minister U Thaung Tun attends Nepal Investment Summit 2019
Myanmar Delegation led by U Thaung Tun, Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations and Chairman of the Myanmar Investment Commission, attended the Nepal Investment Summit 2019 held in Kathmandu, Nepal, on 29-30 March 2019. The Summit was jointly organized by the Nepal Investment Board, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Summit was attended by over 1300 participants, including the Vice Presidents of the World Bank , the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and foreign delegates. Representatives from 40 countries were represented at the Summit.
