RESIDENTS of Bamauk Township of the Sagaing Region start cultivating elephant-foot yams for commercial purposes to generate foreign income from the yams.
The green gram cultivation has succeeded in Kyaukse township, Mandalay region, thanks to adequate rainfall. The local farmers are also happy with the abundant yield, according to the local growers.
