Myanmar Ethnics Culture Festival-2020 continued second day in Yangon yesterday, offering local products from ethnic areas, traditional dances and food to the visitors.
Out of 4.4 million tourist arrivals to Myanmar in 2019, more than 680,000 foreign visitors travelled to Mandalay Region, according to official statistics released by the Mandalay Region’s Directorate of Hotels and Tourism (DOHT).
Under the supervision of the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism, foreign and domestic tourists have been visiting Myanmar through different modes of transport to enjoy well-known destinations, beautiful sceneries and a diverse range of cultures and traditions of local tribes in Myanmar.
PyinOoLwin is a popular mountain resort in Mandalay Region. It is located 3,538 feet above sea level and is far 42 miles from Mandalay, ancient cultural capital or the second largest city in Myanmar. It takes about 2 hours to get there by car or motorbike. The temperature in daytime, it is not hot, around 28 degrees, but sunshine is so strong.
