A total of 85 Myanmar migrant workers including 78 men, seven women were sent back from Thailand through the Kawthoung border gate yesterday for not holding proper documentation.

Thai authorities brought the Myanmar migrant workers to Kawthoung via sea route and handed them over to the authorities in Kawthoung.

Also present on the occasion were personnel from the township General Administration Department, the Labor Department, the Anti-human Trafficking Police Force and the Disaster Management Department and others.
