A fire broke out in Lay Ein Su Village, Nwe Yi Village Tract in Tatkon Township, Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory, around 10:45 p.m. on February 4.
A local resident alerted authorities about the incident, prompting a swift response. Twelve auxiliary firefighters and three firemen, led by U Hein Aung Kyaw, staff officer of the Township Fire Services Department, rushed to the scene with two fire engines and one water tanker. The fire was brought under control by 11:20 p.m. and fully extinguished at 11:21 p.m.
The fire is believed to have originated from the kitchen of a two-story house and spread to two nearby houses. An investigation is underway to take action against the owner of the house where the fire started.—Tin Soe Lwin
