Three tube-wells will be dug in Salin Township 2018-2019 fiscal year to bing water to Magway Region which falls into the bracket of Dry Zone.

The Rural Development Department will dig three tube wells measuring 600 feet deep, three water plants measuring 10 feet long, 8 feet wide and 8 feet high and two water reservoirs with a holding capacity of 5,000 gallons and a water tank with 2,400 gallons at a cost of K 64.307 million. The construction will be completed in summer, said U Kyaw Zeya, head of the department in the township.

In addition, a water supply system was undertaken with K 6.5 million of government’s funds in Salin Township.
