Kyaukme 20 September
Torrential downpours hit Kyaukme Township, Shan State (North) starting from 2 am on 20 September and it caused the water level in Namsaumgnaung Creek to rise this morning. As a consequence, water entered into 195 houses in low-lying areas along the creek in the township.
Township authorities, members of Myanmar Red Cross Society and charitable organizations and donors provided flood victims with food boxes and drinking water. In addition, Chairman of District Administration Council also provided K 300,000 to the victims.
