The Naga Self-Administered Zone has formed the tourism development committee since November.

U Kay Sain, Chairman of Leading Body of the zone, said that the committee is comprised with 3 patrons, the chairman, Secretary and 23 members who are the Lehe Township police officer, legal officer, the officials from the Department of Planning, Department of Immigration, Fire Brigade, municipal committee, representatives of hotels, motels, guesthouses, tourist guides, restaurants, transportation sector, town elders and members of civil society organizations.

The committee has set 21 objectives such as to develop the tourism industry, to promote the living standard and quality, to conserve the natural environment and to cooperate with the relevant organizations for human resource development.
