With the aim of boosting tourism in Chin State, a ceremony to open a tourism workshop, jointly organized by Department of International Trade (DIT) and Chin State Directorate of Hotel and Tourism, was held at the training hall of Chin State Planning Department.

First of all, person in charge of Directorate of Chin State Hotel and Tourism U Aung Phyo clarified the purpose of the workshop.

At the workshop, Dr.Nicole Haushe (senior advisor) from International Trade Centre, Daw Winnie and attendees discussed matters relating to tourism in Chin State.

The state level departmental officials and people who interested in tourism are attending the four-day workshop that started from April 29 and will come to an end on May 3.—Myint Naing Soe, IPRD
