Under the supervision of the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism, foreign and domestic tourists have been visiting Myanmar through different modes of transport to enjoy well-known destinations, beautiful sceneries and a diverse range of cultures and traditions of local tribes in Myanmar in peak season.

With the arrangement of Golden Myanmar Butterfly Travel & Tours Co., Ltd, two Belgians entered Myanmar via Mandalay-Bhamo-Shwegu-Moeta-Katha-Takaung-Kyaukmyaung-Seinpanggone-Mingon-Inwa-Sagaing-Yandapo-Pakokku-Bagan-Yangon route by Myanmar Shwe leikpya cruise ship from April 16 to 21, and left the country from Yangon International Airport.

Similarly, two tourists from France also entered Myanmar via Mandalay-Sagaing-Inwa-Seinpangone-Kyaukmyaung-Takaung-Katha-Bhamo-Mandalay from April 16 to 21 and left the country from Yangon International Airport.

The number of tourists visiting Myanmar has been on the increase in the open season owing to the emergence of new tourist destinations and sweeping reforms.—MDN
