The final match of the Township school council chairman’s cup men’s football final match took place in conjunction with prize awarding event at the compound of Wartaw B.E.H.S. in the town of Myawady, Kayin State yesterday evening.

First, coaches and athletes from participating teams took their positions in the football ground and saluted chairman of the school council. In the final game, the team representing Bayintnaung beat the squad representing Alongbaya with 2-0 and was crowned the champion trophy.  

Next, the awarding ceremony was held, and assistant director of the district education officer’s office U Than Tun, the Township Education Officer U Myint Oo, headmistress of the school Daw Soe Soe Thet and officials awarded the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes and individual prizes to the winning teams and players respectively.
