A welcoming ceremony for the “nation’s worthy sons”, who will attend the People’s Military Service Training 22 from various townships in Shan State, was held at a local training school in Kengtung yesterday morning.
The event was attended by Brig-Gen Kyaw Naing Soe, Deputy Commander of the Triangle Region Command, along with responsible personnel, officers, other ranks and their family members, state-, district- and township-level departmental officials, members of the Myanmar Police Force, representatives of war veterans’ organizations, and members of ethnic cultural groups.
The deputy commander and attendees first warmly welcomed the trainees for the People’s Military Service Training 22 by presenting them with garlands of eugenia flowers and refreshments.
The deputy commander and responsible officials made the necessary organizational and administrative arrangements for those who would attend the training course. — MNA/MKKS
