With a view to creating job opportunity for rural people and boosting their social-economic status, the township Department of Rural Development under Ministry of cooperatives and Rural Development organized a training course on carpenter and mason at the meeting hall of its office in Dedaye Township, Ayeyawady Region yesterday evening.

At the event, staff officer of Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department Dr. Hlaing Phone Myint gave an opening remark. Then, staff officer of the Township DRD U Kyaw Swar Myint clarified the purposes of the training course.

The training course which runs from May 2 to 30 is being attended by 30 trainees from wards and villages in the Township.—A Zar Lin(IPRD)
