A ceremony to wrap up a training course on carpentry was held at the office of village Administrator in Witok Ywama Village in Tamu Township this morning.
First of all, staff officer of the district Department of Rural Development Daw Omma Khin delivered a speech. Next, an official from the township DRD clarified the purposes of the training course and urged the trainees to practically apply the lessons learned in the training to generate more income in their families.
This was followed by the presentation of completion certificates to the trainees by officials.
With a view to creating job opportunities for rural people, the Department of Rural Development under Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation organized a training course on carpentry in Witok Ywama Village in the Township.
The one-month training course was attended by 12 trainees from the village in Tamu Township.—Nyein Thu
