A vocational training course on making value-added food was opened in Akyaw Village, Danubyu Township, Ayeyawady Region on 4 November.
First, Township Administrator U Kyaw Kyaw Oo delivered an opening address and an official from the Department of Rural Development explained the purpose of the course. The vocational training course was jointly conducted by the DRD and the Small Scale Industry Department under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation with the aim of creating job opportunities for rural people.
The course instructors are giving practical and theoretical training on making Myanmar traditional food by using teaching aid materials. The training course is being attended by 20 trainees throughout the township.
