The closing ceremony of a vocational training course on making value-added food took place in Kali, Southern Shan State this morning.

On the occasion, an official from the Small Scale Industry Department and Township Administrator U Ye Min Tun gave concluding addresses and presented gifts to the course instructors. Local authorities also awarded prizes to outstanding trainees and a trainee spoke words of thanks. The regional lawmaker U Sai Aung Kyaw Oo then delivered a concluding remark and those present viewed different kinds of food made by the trainees.

The 10-day course was jointly conducted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation and the Small Scale Industry Department.—IPRD
