With a view to improving job opportunity for rural people and their social-economic status, the township Department of Rural Development under Ministry of cooperatives and Rural Development organized a training course on mason at the meeting hall of its office in Paukkhaung Township, Bago Region on this morning.

At the event, a member-2 of the Township Administration Council U Myint Htay gave an opening remark. Then, an official from the Township DRD clarified the purposes of the training course and called on the trainees to practically apply the lessons learned in the training to generate more income in their families.

Afterwards, officials handed over teaching aid to the trainees. The twenty-day training course is being attended by 20 trainees from wards and villages in the Township.—Than Tun Aung(IPRD)
