A tree planting ceremony to mark the 75th birthday of State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi was held at a land plot owned by the General Administration Department in front of a filling station in Hsinbaungwe Township, Magway Region this morning.
    

The participants including the Pyithu Hluttaw Representative U Nay Htet Win planted a total of 540 saplings such as teak and hardwood in the activity. Among the participants were departmental staff, members of the township maternal and child welfare association, and concerned officials.
