A collective tree-planting activity to mark the 75th birthday of State Counselor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi took place near Nganyoe Village and Chidawya Kyaungtaik in Dimawso Township, Kayah State this morning.

Under the arrangement of Kayah State government, departmental staff attended the activity and planted about 806 saplings near Nganyoe Village and 300 saplings near Chidawya Kyaungtaik in the township.

Also presence on the occasion were Minister for the state Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Boss Ko, Hluttaw Representatives from three Hluttaw, Departmental officials, staff from Department of Health and locals.
