A collective tree planting activity was took place in Hpapun Township, Kayin State yesterday morning.
Under the arrangement of Ottayayone Ayethuta Kyaungtaik Sayadaw Uwarinda, departmental staff attended the activity and planted about 600 teak saplings in Hpapun Township.
With the aim of keeping the environment green, maintaining soil and temperature, trees were planted by departmental officials in the township.
Also present on the occasion were the Pyithu Hluttaw Representative U Saw Tun Mya Aung, the Amyotha Hluttaw Reprentative U Saw Win Htein, the District Administrator, the township Administrator, staff from the District Information and Public Relations Department and the Township Forest Department.
