US President Donald has said that a fourth summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un "could happen soon."

Trump made the comment to reporters at the UN headquarters in New York on Monday.
North Korea's Foreign Ministry official in charge of US affairs said in a statement last week that working-level talks with the United States could restart in a few weeks.

Experts have voiced hope that such talks will be held on the sidelines of the ongoing UN General Assembly.

The US Special Representative for North Korea, Stephen Biegun, declined to comment when he appeared at a hotel in New York on Monday.

Biegun is expected to discuss North Korea's nuclear issue with representatives of relevant countries. But prospects for talks with North Korea remain unclear.
