Two people riding a motorbike were arrested for carrying stimulant tablets on an expressway near Natpoke village in Mohnyin Township in Kachin state yesterday evening, according to the township police station. 


Acting on a piece of information received, local police officers stopped two men riding a motorbike heading for Natpoke village and searched them.


The search led to the discovery of 1140 stimulant tablets weighing 114 grams from Soe Win, the pillion rider and 7600 stimulant tablets weighing 760 grams hidden in the motorbike. Local police officers brought drugs charges against Kyaw Soe and Soe Win for carrying narcotic tablets.
