Singapore Festival-2020 came to an end yesterday at the Lim Chin Tsong Palace on Kabar Aye Pagoda Road in Yangon.

The two-day festival was held with the aim of boosting tourism between the two countries. Myanmar welcomed more than 140,000 Singaporeans in 2018 and over 142,000 last year.

Works of artists from the two countries, including Singapore’s visual artist Urich Lau, were displayed and presented at the festival. Eight clocks, created using Myanmar sandalwood and starflowers, served as attractions for visitors at the festival. —GNLM
