Two men were confirmed injured when a passenger vehicle overturned in Inndaw Township, Sagaing region yesterday.
The accident took place at around 00:10 am on a highway near Tonelon village when the vehicle hit the rail of a bridge and overturned in a roadside drainage. The driver and one of the passengers were injured slightly in the accident. There were altogether three passengers in the car- one female and two male, at the time of the accident.
Over-speeding was blamed for the accident. The local police brought charges against driver U Aye Min Lwin, 48, for careless driving.—Ni Toe
