Two men received burn wounds in a petrol station fire in Hpa-an Township, Kayin State, said the Ministry of Home Affairs.
The fire broke out at a filling station in Ward-5, Hpa-an City at about 4 p.m. on 24 March while gasoline is being transferred to barrels from an oil tanker. The fire destroyed one warehouse, an oil tanker and 7600 gallons of petrol and ceased about two hours later.
Two employees from the filling station were hurt in the incident and are being questioned over fire negligence by the local police.—MOHA
