Two school buildings are being constructed in Basic Education High School (Putao) in Kaungkahtaung Ward in Putao Township, Kachin State.

A two-storey school building  is being constructed with K 231.43 million by Htet Arkar Company and another school building with K 170.5 million by Putao Nan Taw Company. The construction was started on 8 March and now it has been completed by 25 percent.

In 2019-2020 FY, 17 construction projects of school building and staff housing have been allowed for the Department of Basic Education.
