Two stalls were burnt to ashes in a fire in Ngwehsaung Town, Ayeyawady Region, according to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
    

The fire broke out in a stall beside the Pathein-Ngwehsaung Road in Thalatkwar Village at about 4:20 p.m. on September 4. Firefighters from Pathein fire service station managed to completely put out the flame with the use of two fire engines 30 minutes later.
    

Two stalls were destroyed by the fire which was believed to have started from a gas oven. Action has been taken against the stall owner over fire negligence by the police.
