The Township Sports and Physical Education Committee’s Cup U-20 Football Tournament was opened at the sports ground of a high school in Shadaw Township, Kayah State on 7 July.

The football tourney was held under the township sports development programmes. On the occasion, the head of the township police force Police Major Kyaw Naing gave an opening speech. Next, member of the township sports and physical education committee U Wai Lin Aung clarified matters relating to the event.

Afterwards, those present enjoyed the opening match of the tourney between two teams. The event is being participated by five teams.—Tun Aung (IPRD)
