The opening of a multiplier training course on compiling voter’s list was held at the office of the township election sub-commission in Ottarathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw Council Area this morning.

Chairman of the township election sub-commission U Thein Htway explained procedures to be carried out, matters relating to compiler and compilation of voting list and disciplines to be followed by staffs from the township election sub-commission. According to him, a similar course was conducted in Dekhinathiri Township.

The three-day training course was jointly organized by the Union Election Commission and the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES).—IPRD
