MYANMAR fighter Joshua Van secured a technical knockout victory in his bout at UFC 316, which was held in the United States on the morning of 8 June Myanmar time.
He faced off against Brazilian opponent Bruno Silva and claimed victory at four minutes and one second into the third round via referee stoppage. Throughout the fight, Joshua Van traded strikes with Bruno, but his powerful punches landed more effectively, causing significant damage to his opponent.
Bruno Silva responded early in the first round with a series of leg kicks, but Joshua Van countered well, repeatedly landing clean left-right combinations to Bruno’s face. By the third round, the veteran Brazilian appeared to slow down, and Joshua Van capitalized with a barrage of punches, forcing the referee to stop the fight.
This marks Joshua Van’s fourth consecutive win and his seventh victory under the UFC banner since signing with the promotion. — Shine Htet Zaw/KZL
