A ceremony to present uniforms to auxiliary fire fighters was held at the hall of the district Fire Services Department in Kawthoung, Taninthayi Region this morning.

First of all, the Township Administrator U Zaw Zaw Lin Tun delivered an opening speech and official from the District Fire Services Department explained the purpose of donation of uniforms for auxiliary fire fighters. This was followed by the presentation of uniforms to auxiliary fire fighters by officials.

There are 1400 fire fighters in three battalions in Kawthoung Township, Taninthayi Region, it is learnt.—Kyaw Soe (Kawthoung)
