The Office of the Union Election Commission held 7th Waso robe offering ceremony at the hall of UEC office in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday. Chairman of UEC U Hla Thein and his wife Daw Aye Thida, members of UEC and staff from UEC office donated Waso robes and offertories to members of Sangha.

The event was graced by Sayadaw and members of Sangha led by Chairman of Zeyathiri Township Sangha Nayaka Committee Yadanarsan Pariyatti Monastery Sayadaw Ganthavacakapandita Bhaddanta Viseittathaya.

During the ceremony, Chairman of UEC and the congregation were received the Five Precepts given by Sayadaw Ganthavacakapandita Bhaddanta Viseittathaya, after which they listened to the parittas recited by Members of Sangha.

Afterwards, Chairman of UEC and his wife, members of UEC, and Director-General offered Waso robes and offertories to members of Sangha, and the congregation listened to the sermon delivered by Sayadaw Ganthavacakapandita Bhaddanta Viseittathaya.
