Union Health Minister Dr Thet Khaing Win received International Committee of the Red Cross-ICRC Director of Operations Mr Martin Schuepp, Asia-Pacific Regional Director Ms Christine Cipolla, ICRC Resident Representative Ms Elean Ajmone Sessera and the delegation yesterday in Nay Pyi Taw.
Both sides frankly discussed matters related to the current cooperation status and future cooperation of ICRC, humanitarian aid being carried out in Myanmar reaching those in real need, coordination with the ICRC personnel and financial utilization.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister Dr Aye Tun, the directors-general and officials from the Ministry of Health. — MNA/TS
