The Myanmar delegation, led by Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn, arrived back yesterday from Viet Nam after attending the 16th Conference of ASEAN Ministers Responsible for Information-AMRI and related meetings held in Da Nang of Viet Nam.
Delegation members Permanent Secretary U Myo Myint Maung, Director of Myanmar International Television (MITV) Daw Lein Moung Pan, Deputy Director U Han Win Aung and Assistance Director of the Media Development Department Daw Myat Kyemon who accompanied Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn came back on the same flight.
The 16th Conference of ASEAN Ministers Responsible for Information-AMRI, the 20th ASEAN Senior Officials Meeting Responsible for Information-SOMRI and related meetings were attended by Information and Communication Ministers, departmental heads and representatives from ASEAN members countries and China, Republic of Korea and Japan, and officials of ASEAN Secretariat. — MNA/KZL
