Union Minister for Information Dr Pe Myint inspected the works of Myanma Radio and Television (MRTV) in Yangon yesterday.
 

The Union Minister first inspected the renovation of Studio A, upgrading of Studio D, and practising of the national symphony orchestra.
 

He also viewed the shooting of 2020 General Election Theme Song and Public Service Announcement Programme for the election at the Studio 1.
 

Ministry of Information, Myanma Radio and Television (MRTV), Film Development Centre (FDC), Myanmar Motion Picture Organization (MMPO), and Myanmar Thabin Association jointly filmed the song and announcement programme.
 

The Union Minister also held a meeting with MRTV’s officials at its meeting hall.
At the meeting, MRTV’s Director-General U Ye Naing reported on the broadcasting programmes including a live broadcast programme of 73rd Anniversary of Martyrs’ Day, shooting and broadcasting of songs, short story movies, and election quotes, and centenary programmes of Myanmar’s film industry and Yangon University.

 

Upon the reports, the Union Minister urged the media personnel to keep learning so that they can keep up with changing technology trends, and analyze the effects of new media technologies on the works of the department concerned. — MNA
