UNION MINISTER for Border Affairs Lieutenant General Ye Aung visited Kayin State and inspected the regional development on 26 and 27 November. At the office of development supervising committee, he heard reports on the border area development works and called for systematic implementation of policies, objectives and planning of the ministry.
He also inspected constructions of roads and primary school in Hlaingbwe Township, and gave cash assistance, stationery and school uniforms for the teachers and students.
On 27 November afternoon, the Union Minister and party arrived at the Vocational Training School of Domestic Science for Women in Myawady Township, and attended to the needs at the school.
He also inspected construction of the roads and bridge, low-cost housings, irrigation of stream water, power lines and other development works of the ministry in Le Kei Kaw new town in Myawady Township.
