Union Minister for Commerce Dr Than Myint received Australia Ambassador to Myanmar Ms Andrea Faulkner at the minister’s office in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.
During the meeting matters relating to increasing bilateral trade; ASEAN-Australia Free Trade Agreement; increasing all round economic cooperation in the region; Myanmar agriculture products meting quality standards and following Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) norms; technical cooperation in transport, basic infrastructure and logistics sectors; plan for raising the capacity of staffs; implementation of Myanmar special economic zones and raising Ease of Doing Business ranking were cordially and openly discussed. — MNA
