Union Minister for Information Dr Pe Myint looked into the works of Myanmar Radio and Television in Tatkon Township and printing factory in Zeyathiri Township in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
The Union Minster and party, together with Union Election Commission member U Myint Naing, arrived at the Small Studio (II) and inspected preparations in line with the directives of Ministry of Health and Sports for making broadcast campaign programmes of political parties which will contest the 2020 General Election.
This programme will be aired commencing 8 September.
They also inspected control rooms, and discussed productions of clear pictures of party flags and logos, laboratory test of swabs from the production crew and other preparatory works.
The Union Ministry and party also looked around the Small Studio (I) for Farmer Channel and National Races Channel, the U-matic and Betacam where audio discs for radio and videotapes of television division are stored, archive of digital records, news studio, the HD system broadcast room Presentation II, MRTV HD broadcast room and the Auditorium where election campaign songs are being produced.
In the afternoon, the Union Minister and party visited the printing factory at the Kha Ye Pin junction of Zeyathiri Township and inspected the works.—MNA (Translated by Aung Khin)
