U Wunna Maung Lwin, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, received Mr Vinay Kumar, Ambassador Extraor¬dinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar at 12:30 pm on 6 April 2022 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw. 

During the call, the Union Minister congratulated the Am¬bassador for the latter’s appoint¬ment as Ambassador Extraordi¬nary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. They cordially exchanged views on matters pertaining to the fur¬ther advancement of the existing friendly bilateral relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries, and strengthening closer collabora¬tion in regional and multilateral contexts. — MNA
