Union Minister for Information Dr Pe Myint and delegation returned from Japan yesterday evening.

Their visit focused on observing Japan’s film studios, academies, film library, museum, archives centre, media agencies, film services and production companies, and they also attended the Tokyo International Film Festival.

The Union Minister was welcomed at Yangon International Airport by Mr Toru Maeda, Deputy Chief of Mission of the Japanese Embassy, and MoI officials.

The delegation consisted of IPRD Director-General U Ye Naing, Film Promotion Division Director U Thein Naing, MRTV Deputy Director Daw Theinlar Soe, NPE Editor Daw Khin Yadanar, Myanmar Motion Picture Organization Chairman U Zin Wine, Director A-One U Thein Htut and Save Myanmar Film Director U Okkar.
