Union Minister for Construction U Han Zaw looked into construction projects in Nay Pyi Taw Council Area yesterday.

New three-storey building of Ministry of President’ Office

The Union Minister heard reports on the construction of a new three-storey reinforced concrete building which is constructed by the Special Building Team (2) for a new office of Ministry of President’s Office in Zabuthiri Township.

After giving instructions on standards of the building, the Union Minister and officials looked around the construction site that started on 15 October last year and the installation of power supply at the 132,960 sqft building which has been completed 96 per cent now.

Rental housing project for retired civil service personnel

The Union Minister and party also visited the construction site of Thukhawadi rental housing project for civil service personnel in Dekhinathiri Township.

After hearing reports and giving necessary instructions, the Union Minister and party inspected the project on 33 acres of land that includes 300 apartments in five units of five-storey buildings, 120 apartments in two-units of five-storey buildings, 100 apartments in five units of five-storey buildings, 416 apartments 26 units of five-storey buildings, 288 apartments in 18 units of five-storey buildings.
