Union Minister for Transport and Communications U Thant Sin Maung, accompanied by Managing Director of Myanma Railaways U Ba Myint, observed work in progress of the Yangon circular railway road upgrades in Yangon yesterday.
First, Union Minister and party went to Ahlon railway station, where they observed the construction sites of Yangon circular road upgradation and the bridge construction measuring 57’6” in length and 44’ in width, together with a three-foot long footpath in the compound of the Ahlon rail station.
Next, they inspected the construction of brick walls and level crossing near the Narnattaw Flying Over and level crossing in Mingalardon. They proceeded to the construction sites of the Shwe Taung Co.Ltd, where officials from the company reported about the road upgrading projects of Yangon Circular railway road. Following this, Union Minister stressed on the completion of works, carrying out the work process in the rainy season, the signal signage system, measures being taken to arrange for remaining gravel, delivery of gravel, steel and railway sleepers.
